I hate the 377!! Always try and avoid it so would much rather go Torrington-Winkleigh-Whiddon Down. How dark will it be?? If its going to be that dark, maybe worth going down link road then motorway (boring I know)

well i was on earlies last week (5:30am ride to work) and the sun is Juuust peeking at that point,so if we're lucky and the sky is clear then we should have enough light

If not, we can always go that way on the way back

are you out on the friendly ride straight after the early one?

Not sure on the friendly rideout yet. May have other things to do.
