I should hopefully be able to make this, just sorting chain/sprockets this weekend and new tyres in week as rear has no tread in middle.
what sort of route do you go?

Nice route that one. Roads are good and quiet.
Has anyone done the A377 Barnstaple --- Exeter before?
Have been meaning to do it, but last time I rode straight past and ended up at M5

Yes done this road a reasonable amount. However the start is very slow going until you get the other side of Crediton. My advice would be go down the a 30 Cornwall and turn off at Whidden Down the go north to north Tawton then East to Cobblestone and pick up the road from there.

Decent roads all the way then.

DON'T forget that with the blocks changing this weekend it will still be a Little dark when the ride starts.

Watch out for walkofshamers, bunnies and pissed up farmers.

A377= my back yard, bit of uneven road due to subsidence between Kingford and Umberleigh.

Whiddon Down - North Tawton is an exceptional road. :-c
