If you're thinking that, why not just walk around the river valley park, starting/finishing at Double Locks (or the car park by the bridge)?

Seems daft to load the woofers in the car & drive somewhere to walk them, just to load them back in the car & drive to somewhere that they either have to stay in the car or be tethered down and be a pain in the *rs* whilst one has a drink ..... They can't really be left to wander around free at Double Locks without risk to them or others ....

i've not known anyone have any problems with their dogs roaming free around doulble locks.

it's only 5 mins down the road from the walk so can't see it being a problem. i did think about your suggestion but always find that the dogs get in the way of the cyclists that use the pathway.
