But a bicycle is 15kg and a motor cycle 200kg. It's a lot more weight if on top pushing you into the road, or to force a change in direction in the case of being t boned.

Personally I think all gear should be ce approved. Cheap crap that doesn't work should be banned that goes for everything in my opinion.

NEVER had leathers (except for the whips of course)...heavy, hot, 'spensive and 'orrid in rain,.

First bike life was wax cottons, this one textiles, the whole textiles and nothing but the textiles.

Also, in my youth, regularly exceeded 40 mph and occasionally 55 mph on a pushbike in shorts and t-shirt, on ¾'' tyres Ho hum.
