Just to confirm. As the orgamanizer I can state that we will be at Chepstow Spar two hours after midday as has been clear in all my posts.....I think. The possibility of being there later was if the M48 old bridge was going to be closed westbound , which is not going to be the case.
Meet Wellington 11.45ish to leave there in two waves at 12.00 and 12.10 on the dot.
Second wave stops at Sedgemoor services to collect three strays at 12.40.
Both groups of 6 or less meet Kata at Chepstow Spar about 14.00.
Coffee stop at the Oasis Abergavenny 14.40-15.00.
Arrive at the Neuadd 15.45 to 16.00.
In the bar 16.30 for first cider.
You can phone me if further clarification is needed, but not now as I'm going to bed.

How are you meeting an hour after you have left?
Don't forget, all exchange phone numbers - just in case.

"How are you meeting an hour after you have left?" ??? Will that be the typo above that I've just noticed and changed. I am a senile old fart
We are meeting back up two hours after the first group of six leaves Wellington, which is one hour fifty minutes after the second group leaves Wellington. I have posted my number for folk to contact me.

Back. What an excellent trip. No fords this time, I think Brian missed a turning. Well done to Brian for leading and a mention in dispatches to Roy for not knocking anyone off. Thanks to the TECs on route too.

Thank you all for making the weekend well worth the orgamanizing, with a special mention to Roy and Nick for giving me the extra grey hairs. Whichever way you came home, north, south, east or west shall we agree we were all north of the equator and south of the north pole......this time
Thinking caps on for the next one, nearest weekend to 19th June next year, where shall we go?
Numbers for this weekend:-
Brian ptolemyx 574.6

Excellent weekend and we were really blessed with the weather - who would have thought we'd get 3 days of bright and warm sunshine at the end of September in deepest Wales?!
Thanks to Brian fo rthe organising at the hotel and the excellent Saturday route. The ball ache of Friday traffic up the M5 couldn't be avoided but once we were over the bridge it got better.
Feck me , we had a journey and a half on the way back. Wanted to avoid all motorways so went via Hereford, New ent, edge of Gloucester, Stroud, Lansdowne, Shepton Mallet. Left Alan at Podimore and came home via Chard and Yarcombe Hill, where Chr1s and I had a clear run up it. It was like qualifying at Wiscombe Hillclimb
602 miles door to door for me........at an average of 72mpg
As to next year - further up Wales might be possible or take an extra day and go maybe across to Norfolk way? I've got a mate up there that can provide some excellent traffic free routes. And they have no motorways in Norfolk so we don't have to have an argument over whether we're north or south of it
