You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Kim's tea was always a bonus on a day at Llandow :-bd

A few more Llandow-related musings : Thursday evening routine was to stop at the Chippy in Cowbridge, then head to the campsite and say hi to everyone, eat, have a beer and the pitch camp. The 10:00 start on track allowed time to strike camp and queue up outside the circuit gates before being allowed into the paddock to set up before sign-on & briefing time. Riders' briefing was always a giggle before getting out on track. Track time: short laps, intense and bumpy (well it was between 2007-13, haven't been since then). Friendly crowd, lots of folk whom I haven't seen for ages, save for a few at Cadwell around 2016; Simon, Kim, Gav, Kelly, Bambam to name but a few (plus many more). 2011 - whipping up quite a crowd of Wiltshire Bikers to have a go, quite a few of whom continued doing trackdays and some have even gone racing. In 2012 or 13, final session, Gerry and Moo having quite a dice lap after lap, Gerry just getting to the line ahead at the flag, then running onto the grass at the bus stop and crashing - committing the Cardinal Sin of crashing after the flag
Does anyone still camp, or do y'all stay at the Travelodge now? That trend began during the foul weather on the Thursday and Friday in 2012 when those of us who'd made the effort to get there through monsoon-like rain and high winds were told that the track was unusable on account of the wind, standing water and lots of debris from trees and hedges.
2012 was an anomaly, weather-wise - the SWB day was normally blessed with very un-Welsh weather, even when it was chucking it down all the way back to the Severn Bridge.
