Was keeping my powder dry, hoping to come on this one. Been hijacked (was always a possibility) and unfortunately, 'noblesse oblige'.
Balderdash. Have a good time folks.

Ah, it'll be dry and lurvely by the morn' - and my Fut couldn't get any filthier anyway

If it is I'll be along but its not looking good this way. Most of the soil from the fields is now in the road round here.
KTM and Duc are both glistening and gleaming...

If it was Dorchester, that was Jerry (Triumph 800) and Henry (Kwacker Z8) heading for the sanctury of Gillingham and Mere. Richard (800 BMW), Alan (1400 Suzuki) and I went home the pretty way e.g. via the Monkey Jump roundabout & Grimstone then Beemer & Fut via Maiden Newton, Toller Down, Chard, Yarcombe, Honiton (more tea & cake) then home - the Suzuki via A37, then right somewhere and into the giggleweeds, then gawd-knows-where and home.
Thanks to Stinker for suggesting this

, shame last minute bike prob's stopped play for him

. Six of us had a great day out, it just what was needed

. O.k. the roads were damp in places but were never at any stage dangerous and certainly didn't stop us from 'making progress'

Hell, riding yer bike's what it's all about, rain or shine ......... .
Well done to Richard btw for breaking his SWB rideout duck on a mixed weather day, in an area he didn't know, with people he didn't know, and not long after gaining his full bike licence - nice riding, join us again anytime

Thanks for making me feel welcome and for a great day out, it's good to get some more miles in following others and getting a better idea of what these bikes are capable of. Will definitely be along to some more!
