Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Mmmmm. Nice photos :?
Yes, I saw you down the bay along with all the other bikers and bike clubs that were out and about.
Was gonna say hello (I recognised Pedro's bike from a previose thread) but you'd gone by the time I'd come back from getting a coffee.
Still can't get over how many bikes were about on a grey cold Sunday.

'kin-ell! Have I still got my lid on in those photos? Helmet-hair extraordinaire!

Thanks AndyCBR, Gixerdrew and Pedro for the ride. (And for the warming coffee Pedro!) Was great to meet you guys. A thoroughly enjoyable jaunt which was also a masterclass in safe overtaking for a novice like me! :o I don't think I have ever managed to make my way through traffic quite so rapidly and confidently before.

It was also brilliant to discover a popular destination for bikers - Westbay. I'm enthusiatic to find out where the decent routes and haunts are in time for the summer! 8)

Maybe I'll see some of you again on Tuesday if I make it to the Maltsters.

Cheers!
pedro

When we've all got our swb stickers then we'll know if we see another member. We'll be down Westbay loads as the weather gets better (we'll be on a red Daytona with an undertray, and there aint many of them around  ). If you see us come and say hello. Would have come down on Sunday but took the Mrs to Kents Cavern and Living coasts in Torquay. Recomend them both.

What route do you normally take to Westbay? I'm guessing you take something a little more interesting than going up the A30. :) It's not somewhere I've headed before.

I've always gone from Exeter>Lyme Regis>West bay, quite a nice road, although pretty busy sometimes.
