So it was raised the other day whilst out on a ride about the rule of 6 thing, luckily we only had 4 so wasn't a drama. It did bring to light the whole thing about mixing outside of households or bubbles while we still can.

We had a brief chat amongst the staff as to what to do so going forward we're going to have to tweak a couple of the rideout rules (for now)- sorry.

Official rides posted up on here will have to be in groups of no more than 6 people(this number includes pillions).
Multiple groups of 6 on a ride however i believe are known as a loophole. ;) ;) ;)

What we would ask of folk though is to please download this track n trace app and have it running, at least that way if some jobsworth does stop the run they can't kick off at us not following protocol.

Before you all kick off I know it's a bit '1984' and you may not like the idea of companies tracking you etc but they are doing that anyway through the sites you visit and the products you buy. It probably doesn't work but at least we're showing willing.

So please, download the app, have it running and enjoy still being allowed out to play.

Good idea to show willing and all that some but not many older phones do not have the ability to have the app so I believe a phone number should be provided so at least the group lead/admin can make contact if anything does pop up this way all worst case scenarios are covered ??

Or run leader to take details of everyone on the ride

Android and iOs both did a sneaky update a few moths back with tracking app installed. Just have to activate it.
