You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.

Details to follow.

3 confirmed times and locations


Location - Exeter motorway services carpark
LEAVING - 0330

Location - Drum Bridges roundabout, near Newton Abbot
LEAVING - when the initial group arrive and then 0345

Location - Route 38 Diner, Trerulefoot, Saltash PL12 5BL
LEAVING - when we arrive but aiming for 0445

Location - Tescos garage, St Austell
LEAVING - when we arrive + some top up time. Aiming for 0540

Yeyyyyyy Got to love me a bit of RTTB
In the diary already and more importantly in the wife's diary. Its our wedding anniversary the day after so needed to get this in the diary sharpish before plans got made.

See if I can make it this year. Not really into the more leisurely rides but RTTB is part of SWB heritage, so...

Keen to do the RTTB again but a real hurdle for me is being down in Exeter for 03:30!

Can I ask what the need for such an early start is?....particularly as sunrise is around 05:00 so the first hour and a half of riding (from Exeter....so two and a half for me) is in the dark! :cry: :cry: :cry:

What would be the issue with an 05:00 start from Exeter which I guess would have us at Lands End before 08:00 still?

it's because that's what makes a bit different.

Plus down this was the traffic starts to get annoying after 6 so we get down that way before the grockles rise.



Feel free to organise a ride down there starting at 5am anytime though.

No, the route down to St Austell is simple, just the 38 to make progress, yeah there's a bit of twin track but once the other side of plymouth it's single lane A Road with no cars.

When we get to St Austell we're I'm the hands of badger and whatever magical tour of pixie land he decides to take us on.
After breaky we decide either to take the top, middle or bottom route back up to Exeter (generally depends on the weather)
