Db levels on the up...

OK folks, who do we use for tuning, re mapping. The mighty triumph has decided to start blowing a million db for track days.
The exhaust servo valve is non operative with a by pass thingy plugged in for the ecu. The bike is mapped with an off the shelf map for the end can.
Exhaust has a baffle in it and I'm sure it only blew 99 db last summer at brands.
Looking at refitting the OE end can and re mapping for it and to allow for the exhaust servo out of use.

Any sensible advice for sound levels too please. :| :|

Repack the end can before going too far.

Managed to drop my old zx6r by 4db by repacking it.
Also have a second quieter baffle rather than the exhaust servo.

Where would you fit a second baffle??? In the end can or some where else in the system? A standard thing I guess??

Take it down to McPherson Motorcycles in plymouth.

It's not a second baffle, it's a choice of baffles to run.
I got pipeworx to make one to suit my end can but made with more silencing.

So had 3 options.
1. No baffle 101db
2. Normal baffle 98db
3. Quiet baffle ran 95ish db

it continues...
Unable to open either triumph OE or Race exhaust cans without de welding and I guess re welding. hmm, cost effective for the parts department :))
Tested at 103 db at Cadwell the other day, race can but with baffle in.
going to put OE end can on, replacing the Triumph race can and hope that brings it down. If not, I guess re fiiting the servo valve motor is the only real alternative. Just gutted as it tested below 100Db in current configuration, i.e race end can with baffle and servo valve constantly open.

Like the idea of your 'custom baffle Ian but wondering if just all back to OE might be a safer option O:-) :| :ymdaydream:
