SO with one thing and another (rip Pita), i've not been out on two wheels Road wise for a while. Went out today for a bimble and couldn't believe how bad the road conditions and standard of driving has actually got worse.
Since when is it acceptable to drive at 35 in a 60, along the straights?
Seems folk like to be farting about with the TFT screens rather than looking down the street.

Had to use the cage to go up to York recently and on the bits where there was the actual national speed limit and not cone central restrictions bimbling on the motorways at indicated 72mph (tut, tut) it seemed like I was whizzing past most other drivers as they dawdled at much slower speeds.
Also agree with Julian we should, "mirror..indicate......check..maneouvre" not "mirror(maybe)...........indicate as you maneouvre"

And when you are driving a 44 ton truck coffin dodgers that pull out in front of you making you brake then drive down the road at 35mph , when you get to a piece of road where you could pass them speed up to 60mph then back to 35 when the 3lane or straight runs out ,

Cost of fuel has slowed a lot of people down. On the few trips I do to the office on the motorway it's quite noticeable.
