Any one got any suggestions?
My current insurer (Bikesure) will add my 125 trailie but want more for that than they do for my 1050 Sprint ST - plus an extra 'administration' premium.

Just do a 'compare the market' and get a separate policy, all my bikes are on separate policies.

Tried 'em Alan. No go, they don't cover the make or model of the second bike. Must be all that tyre burning 125 cc's of power that frightened them off!

What is this 125 trailie that is proving to be a problem?

Yup, with McKenzie and Hodgson it is - the 125 trailie, they 'don't accommodate' it. I'm thinking I'll insure it separately.

It's a 2009 Kinroad XT 125 GY Explorer. A run of the mill Chineseum trailie. If you want to insure me privately at mate's rates the reg' # is WA59 HMU :)): .

:)):
I was going to speculate that it was a Chinese 125 causing the issue..
However... years ago I hit a similar stumbling block with my Suzuki as the type of underwriter that were cost effective with 'road bikes' were not so good with 'trail bikes'.. which sent me down the route to separate policies, which I think are actually cheaper now.
