removing alarms

has anybody ever taken their bike somewhere to have their alarm and immobiliser taken out?

where did you go
how long did it take
how much did it cost

Do it yourself :D I had a good chat with rob G when I needed to sort mine out for my bike ... Its actually quite simple to do just make sure you shut it up ... ie blanket wrapped around it and then do one wire at a time making sure you colour code them as you go along.

to be honest mate when it comes to electrical stuff i would rather pay someone to do it that knows what they are doing

ive put mine in service mode before, (thats the datatoool alarm)
you should be able to take it out then.

I saw an alarm removal man in town last week, wearing a black and white striped top and had his eyes covered over for some reason.. :? .. must be a trade or professional thing.. he was using a hammer and some pilers and a long screw driver on this R1.. he then put the bike in back of van, on its side.. (must have been something technicial resting bike on his side).. jumped in drivers seat and then wheel span his transit out of the carpark..

If I'd known before Watters, I could have asked him for you...
