I know it's been discussed plenty of times on here about why some of us dont wear full gear and others do but i just come across this artical and thought i'd post it up for others to read.

Scary
I wore full gear when I crashed last year, 15 broken bokes from hitting the road and no road rash. I see people with leather jackets on and nothing but jeans and boots protecting the lower half, more fool them.

Back protectors should always be worn !
I have heard of one person who crashed easter weekend whilst racing, silly sod just slid off and because he ws not wearing one he's paralized from the waist down.
Legs and arms will mend but spines are different.

I watched a WSB race once and one of the guys fell off and folded over backwards, then i went and got a back protector
I've always worn good gear on a bike, even riding my 125s. I had a couple of slow offs when i had just passed my CBT which made me realise just how baddly you can scare at slow speed and made me think about the damage at higher speeds
Bodys parts don't fix up as well as bikes do
