right then

since i was 'nominated' to be a rideout moderator (thanks mav) i have managed to get a couple of outings under my belt and they seem to have gone down quite well.

to help keep the routes fresh what i am asking of you members is for a bit of help.
now we all know that everyone has their fave roads and routes so what i am asking for is the details of these so that i can combine them to make for a more interesting trip out when we go - does that make sense?

obviously as with rideouts we dont post these routes up but if u could pm them to me it would be much appreciated.

plus if you know of any good pubs/food stops on these roads that would be a bonus too.

depends on how far people are prepared to travel, theres some lovely roads around the north of cornwall and the run from plymouth to looe and back across bodmin moor is always a good one, just depends if you guys want to head south of exeter ??

thats the whole reason,

if people dont know about these other roads then they arent gonna make the trip.

more roads that are known, the bigger the route.

Be very wary if you use the North Devon link road to Barnstaple, it seems to be a popular hunting ground for the Highway Robbery Partnership. Last summer I had loads of customers in the shop complaining about being robbed by those jumped up tax collectors. I tend to take alternative routes in the area so I haven't become a victim myself, but I do hear a lot........ Forwarned is forarmed.

yep famous for it,near south molton is a hot spot for the mobile cameras, youve had 30miles of tailbacks from barnstaple then open it up and flash youve been caught over tkaing the lorries that held you up

the a roads around yeovil seem a good place for a blast for people north of exeter
