Was going to go today. Lift arranged but thought the weather was going to be sh*t.

How wrong was i

Anyhow what a great race for Scott Redding

250cc race wasn't bad eithier.

The GP ummmm bit boring at the front like the "F1" today to, other then Rossi and Danni's 2 minute battle

Lorenzo what do you say ?? Is maturaty finally kicking in and he is finally realizing that you can actually finish a race and earn points if you back off just a tad and don't crash. Give him a couple weeks and he is fighting fit he will be unleashed again but hopefully taken onboard the advice about pacing his self. looks to be working at mo but injuries still a issue.

But lets move on JT  Didn't watch the practice or Qually but heard he had a couple offs. Whats the score ??

Trying too hard ?? Home crowd and all that ?? Surely not he is an expereinced racer. Poor qually trying to get a good start but highside it 1st corner. Thats not JT is it ??

Did he have issues with bike, set up, ?? I know it was a wet qually

Anyhow great days racing to be had.

Anyone go up ??

I was there

It was awesome. Best atmosphere at Donnington that I can remember in a 500/moto gp race.

Might have looked crap on tv but there was some awesome riding going on. Watched all races at the esses.

I will remember it for a long time. Even managed to make it out of donny in less than 15 minutes. Bonus.

i dont think his off in the first corner was a rider error, his tyres hadn't warmed up properly and the back just stepped out. I thought it was a fairly good race all round, plenty of battles going on. I though the race for 4th was more interesting that rossi and pedrosa going at it.

We were there (Colin, Dynasangel, K5Chris & John ) John isnt a member yet

We were sat half way down craner curves. Welldone to Scott (125's ) terrific result and you just got to feel for Toseland. All in all i thought it was an excellent day's racing and the weather stayed dry.

Welldone to Dynasangel on the way home, god she was aching and sore from her off the week before and riding a naked 600 bandit didnt help.

JT was just trying to hard with all the pressure the british media put him, they build em to hero status and put too much pressure on. we were watching form a hospitality unit at redgate with tele and commentary so able to listen to the commentaors and watch the box. he struggled to get the bike set up in the dry on friday and then lost a day with saturdays rain but we all knew it would be rainig on saturday for days before hand. toseland looked to be struggling and the st georges flag leathers were a bad move too,bit more pressure to do well and from 16th that was never going to happen,he thought he'd have to get a stunning start to get a good result but if he'd followed lorenzo's idea and took it steadily he might have had top 8 and some hero status instead he tried too hard and highsided mid corner, all the tyres would be similair tempature and there was no contact from anyone else so its got to be rider error.big shame really as the atmosphere up at redgate died then which was a shame after what redding did, just hope that out media dont ruin him too :!: the only downside was apart from the last 6 laps with redding there was no atmosphere at redgate at all, probably the worst motogp atmosphere i can remember in the last 10yrs but what a difference the atmosphere was with redding, proper hairs standing up stuff.

one marker to consider is ben spies never ridden a gp,never ridden donington, rarely rides in the rain and he qualified 8th in front of pedrosa as there was no pressure on him,its mst be difficult being JT and having all that extra pressure put on you

stoner did well but didnt win by as a big a margain as i was expecting, pedrosa was a bigger threat too,i though he'd sneak 3rd but didnt expect him to be battling with rossi for a few laps, well until he went into fuel saving mode

redding was just awesome and should definetly be one for the future if he keeps his feet on the ground which with his grounding and success hes had so far he should do. bradley was a little disappointing,he should be further up the field on the polaris world bike,it a full spec aprillia and a notch up on what reddings riding.

credit must also go to donington for the traffic,as tom said the traffic to get out was very easy,i hobbled from redgate back to the car andonce in the car it took us 15mins to be on the a42 and heading for home. was home by 8.30 which was fantastic. the facililites seemed a little better and there was more choice of food and drink and places to sit on the infield.
