South West Bikers | Motorcycle Forum

Hello - I'm 63, getting on, finishing work in April next year, I have two bikes, both XJ 600's, one is the Diversion N and the other the previous model, the pre diversion, which is 24 yrs old but the more relaxing one for longer trips with a fairing and 20 litre tank.

Love the south-west and I'm always saying that it would be a nice place to live (we are 15 miles east of Oxford) but my wife says that she doesn't want to be any further from her Mum. I usually head your way on an outing, or maybe to Wales, I go into London on the bike but it's not a great pleasure really.

Well I don't consider myself an old duffer, but I'm fifty, and looking around, it seems that I may well be!
I always think that you are onl;y as old as you let yourself be.I plan on getting old disgracefully and I think that I've started quite well!

I wouldn't worry greatly about age and bikes, if you're still enjoying the ride then that's all that matters

We've all ages, bikes etc on here...just dive on in
