Ello!

Found this forum whilst Googling for "Best cornwall motorbike rides". Just moved here after spending 11 years in Corfu, bringing my greek fazer with me. Getting used to riding in the UK again, and rapidly remembering just how dim-witted car drivers are when it comes to bike riders.

Looking forward to discovering all the twisty bends down here :)

Mark

I've got to admit that after a twenty year break I have been very impressed by how car drivers are seeing me. Not what I remember at all. Mind you I have made sure I stand out.

Only a few hundred miles done so far but not one emergency stop or swerve needed yet. Maybe they are just saving it up for when i relax

Hello and welcome!

Keep an eye on the meets section over the next week or so as I'm thinking of doing a Sat/ Sun Lunch meet up/ ride to/ from type thing, in the next month or so, prob early August.

Let us know where you are based and if I'm out and about in general I'll post up!

Wow, thanks for the welcome :)

I'm based in Falmouth. Had a ride out yesterday, through Gweek and Constantine, down narrow tracks, then down to The Lizard for a nice crab butty, then back home on the main road via Helston. First time in a while I'd had anything approaching a good ride, and my soft arse was quite sore!

Be great to have a ride out, just getting used to riding in the UK again, it's quite a novelty to ride at 70mph for any length of time, before running out of island and ending up in the sea!

Happy days :)

I'm also in Falmouth and have that ride planned for tonight after the shoppers go home! I also need to train my body not to complain.
