Hello from Bristol

Hello all,
Recently bought myself a CBR600F to satisfy the commute but also something that's comfortable for a spot of touring and more importantly something I can get my feet down on as I'm a shortass at 5'4 :). Back in the day I've owned an ER50, DT175MX, RD125LC, RD350LC and got back on a DRZ400 a few years ago before it was stolen ! I'm well impressed with the CBR so far and have had a few runs down to weston via A38 and A370 to familiarise myself with the bike. Looking to go a bit further afield and socialise with some like minded peeps so the SWB forum looks a great place to start. I'm looking to do some evening runs across to Wales and would like to do the minehead -> ilfracombe maybe on a Sat/Sun. I'll keep my eye on the rideout section.

I'm a 46 old living in Bristol so was wondering if that's southwest enough as I've read some of the posts which suggest a more Devon and Cornwall user base.

Look forward to meeting up sometime
regards
swainers (steve)

They are a friendly bunch anyway so out numbered or not it's still a great place to be.

Thanks for the replies,

Nice bike devonblue :),

As far as the Cornish there's no place I'd rather be :), Although Devon is nice also ;) (I understand from a couple we met at fairford from Brixham that there is a bit of rivalry between the cornish and devoner's (is that the right term)
I'm taking the bike for a leisurely ride to St Austell on Saturday (may not be ideal being the first weekend of the school hols !!) Visiting Mother and need to cool off for a day in the sea followed by a few pints of tribute  So if you see an all black cbr600f give me wave

Smiler thanks for the invite, I'll give you a shout when I get a wednesday free. Is it a monthly thing ?

Darren good to know maybe hook up for a rideout sometime

Loving the bike mate and getting used to it quicker than I thought I would, only been to and from work and WSM so not really used it much as yet, but will get out and about at some point when I get the chance.

Where in Bristol are you, and did you get my email?
