Haven't got much sympathy with people that film themselves breaking the law and then post it online for the world to see. But nine months inside( he'll be out a long time before then)is ridiculous. No one was hurt and the world is full of "could haves" , "what ifs" and "miracles" happening everyday. Just imagine if he'd passed out behind the bars and killed six people ............ ;)  :|

He would have been let off.

Yep he was a tool for doing it, posting it and showing off.
I guess it could make dealers a little more careful about loaners in Plymouth.

If it was car, what you reckon the sentence would have been?

Still would of been fairly harsh I reckon. He still would of been a "lunatic" and "could have" wiped out half the population of the southwest! Speeding.........worse than being a Paedophile, murderer, drug supplier etc  Keeps the solved crime figures up though I suppose!

There is spirited riding and then there is taking the piss. This is the latter. Do the crime, do the time.

Whilst, as I have oft said, he is a complete pillock for posting videos of himself comiting a crime (seemingly worse than mugging old ladies) and posting it on line for all to see, I didn't think the riding in that video was so horrendous?

I recognise all those roads, and they should be familiar to anyone whose travelled the Plymouth/Ivybridge/Totnes area, and have seen worse riding at both higher and lower speeds.

There were few cars about, there aren't many concealed junctions (that aren't signed), the roads were all two-lane minimum, the weather was dry, bright, and clear, and the highest speed I could see was high 90's?

That's worthy of imprisonment, yet the unmarked copper I saw weaving through heavy motorway traffic at 90-100ish (20+ above adjacent traffic) the other day on the M4 is acceptable ........ One rule for them, etc., etc., .....

Still, it sends a message, and as said its also another crime solved for the statistics 8) Perhaps not the best advertising for GT though. How long before dealers are made responsible for the actions of those they lend bikes to? Or have to fit limiters to their demo vehicles?

I have no doubt that modern bikes would have the capability to be limited quite easily ,I reckon GT will get all test riders to sign a waiver or summat taking the responsibility off their shoulders now
