Haute Cuisine

I am a life-long chip guru.

Twice, I have returned immediately to the shop to purchase a second bag of chips beacause they were so good. Both times I was in Devon.

So...a question. South and west of a line from Bristol to Soton...where have you had the finest chips ? Not fish, burgers, sauce, pies, pasties etc. just CHIPS. Need to know.

Been a while since I've been but Squires in Brunton was good.

I like the café at Blue Anchor, near Minehead but that's not really just a fish and chip shop.

Krispies in Exmouth are usually a nice option especially with there lightly battered chips.
