Try kayaking

Now the summer has ended and the rains have arrived, don't just sit in the garage staring at your bike thinking sad thoughts, try kayaking, because rain puts the white into whitewater
.
For a warmer introduction to the sport, swimming pools are the place to go and try it, and there are plenty of clubs about.
Bring the family, and get brownie points to cash in when the sun's shining and the roads are dry
For those on here local to Dawlish Teignbridge canoe club
Anybody else paddle with a club?

I know Red5 paddles with Exeter so he will post a link !winkWelcome to our Club! – We are now on the Winter Schedule! We meet on Friday evenings at Dawlish Leisure Centre Swimming Pool at 8.30pm. Visitors and new paddlers are very welcome. All you need to bring with you is your swimming gear and a t-shirt plus £7. (See the guide for beginners). After the Paddle we usually have a quiet one at the Smugglers so you might like to bring some cash.
