Where do you store your "stuff" when wearing leathers?

Post by Jug »

I'm use to having more pockets than you can shake a stick at with my textile gear but I've just realised that my 2 piece leathers have no external pockets, and the jacket has just one small internal phone pocket...

I suppose that pocket is enough for my phone, a cash card and maybe a note or two, but no change! :(

My bike has a Givi tanklock ring on it, and a large tank bag came with the bike..
I could buy one of those small givi tank bags for odds & sods I suppose...

Alternatively it'd be a back pack I guess, or a bum bag... :80:

Or just wear my textile jacket....

What do you guys do?

Like you say.

A couple of cards, some notes and phone.
IF I want sunglasses etc I've got space under the seat. Anything more and I have a little bag I bought years ago from a runners shop. Even has a pocket for visor cleaner although that probably wasn't it's intended use.

Plain black bum bags are popular. Next step up is a small thin-strapped back pack.

I use a Givi tank bag. Its only 4 litres, enough to hold phone, keys and wallet etc. It also has a clear housing for my phone if I am using sat nav, also comes with a waterproof cover that you can still see the phone through.Works pretty well. before that I just used a rucksack

Got a small tailpack bolted on mine . Don't stick anything expensive in there just in case anyone takes a liking to its contents, but its there for visor cleaner etc. I can just get my phone and wallet in my only internal pocket. Keys around my neck on a lanyard.

Always made the point of a Leather Jacket & Matching Jeans combo rather than 2 pce suit - for pockets & wearability with normal jeans.

2 outside pockets, two inside ones plus a small pocket in the thermal liner of my Furygan.

Used to wear a 1 pce suit on the road but that was pre-mobiles so card, a few notes and 1 door key was all what was taken.

If it's my leather power ranger suit it's tight and I can only just get my "stuff" in there....end up with a squeaky voice :P
If it's leather jacket and trousers I have a bum bag for lipstick and eye liner

same as Graham, two piece has enough pockets usually, but otherwise, I ve got a cheap bum bag which is enough for a full day ride. When I'm going to and from work though I use a back pack, but thats because I LIKE sandwiches.....oh and carry a lot of useless shit for work too

I use to use a day back pack but have become reliant on my tank bag now a days. No extra weight or bulk connected directly to you. I have pockets but I carry my diabetic kit around with me to which adds just enough bulk to make what I carry too much to pocket. The tank bag does allow you to throw in a hat or something if want to.
:D
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Phone, £20 and a card. That's it. Keys are either stashed away of leave the woman at home. Don't want to be crashing with keys in my pockets...
