Suspension Upgrade

Big Thanks to Billinom8s.

Recently moved over to the dark side and bought a KTM off road bike, cracking fun, but the suspension didn't seem right, back was wound up to the max on preload and compression and it felt crap... it just did not work together.

Spoke to Simon after a days riding and we talked through some options and decided on new springs front an rear and a full service.

Found the first issue quickly... ZERO Gas in the rear shock, WP suspension have a different way of filling however, but a workaround was found by Si and he was able to re-gas the shock, Springs changed in the front and a new oil, service and it all went back together...

Well... what a transformation, road manners on knobbly's is brilliant, feels way more planted, front now feels progressive and smooth, stiffer spring on the rear, and having some gas in the shock it all works together.

After a full days play last Sunday, off road was improved so much, suspension transformed, front and rear working together and soaking up the big and small stuff.

Top Job Si... Highly recommended.

Got to say he's getting a bit good at this suspension lark. He set up my 1000 and did fork service on the 600. Top job :D
