At the Double locks in Exeter.

1930hrs onwards, lots of space outside, good food, nice ales if you're into that kind of thing.

for me for this as am waiting confirmation of a band gig that same afternoon in Sidmouth. If it doesn't happen, I'll be there.

For any furriners not familiar: The Double Locks is in a great location alongside the Exeter ship canal. Accessed off of Marsh Barton, it's not the easiest place to find but more than worth it when you do:

And the best news of all is: If you like the place (and you will ), you can come visit it again on Saturday 25th August at 1300 hrs, during their annual Beer & Cider festival weekend - cos we're playing !

Blimey, can we afford to meet at the double locks. Can always remortgage the house

Double locks is a lovely pub, I first discovered it on my kayak.
The Turf Hotel is another good one but a real PITA to get to.

Errrm ...... Have you checked opening hours? I've been told they're shutting at 9pm on Saturday (4th), so not sure if they're open later on a mid-week night?

You could of posted up the times he you've looked at the Site.

I haven't. I was meeting friends there and they have told me what time it apparently closes. Sadly it's irrelevant, as I'm working Saturday night now anyway .....

I spoke to them.

They stop serving food at half 8 and shut the pub around 1030

Will be there ,probably a little early as i will be leaving Taunton around 4.30/5.00
So if anyone wants to meet up pre 19.30 on route or around exeter ?

Unfortunately I will be at BMAD on Wednesday

Unfortunately? Is it that bad?

Well not that bad but it would have been nice to get to meet some of the people from the forum but BMAD is for charity and don't want to miss it as it goes to good causes.
