Henstridge bike blast this Saturday 4 till 11pm. It's a long one so the runway is open until it gets dark
Trying to find out if they have camping available, but I don't do Facebook. If anyone knows can you forward it please?

Nige, I have lifted the following info' from the 'Henstridge Bikers Blast' F/book page, hope it's of interest:

'PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Henstridge Airfield Bikers Blast - SATURDAY 21st JULY

We have had confirmation that the runway should be in use from 5pm when aircraft activity has ceased.

There will be a conventional BBQ, Fish and Chip Van, Chilli and Tachos, Salad Bar, Baguettes & Wraps.

Normal snacks, hot and cold drinks and ice creams will also be available.

Hot food will be availble from 5pm. Drinks and snacks from 4pm.

A bar will only open when the runway blasts finish.

Music will be until 11pm.

As usual there will be a £2 donation to run the runway as many times as you like.

The last Bikers Blast meet made £728 for CLIC Sargent which was short of our target, therefore we kindly ask
that anyone that attends in either a car, van and/or on bike drops a quid in a collection buckets - this is not mandatory but will help us make up for the shortfall to fund
the CLIC Sargent charity flying day.

Camping will be adjacent to the Marquee - please see a marshal if unsure.

Tents, caravans or camper vans are fine.

Camping is FREE. We would be grateful if we could know numbers and it would also be good to know who would like breakfast Sunday AM - COMMENT BELOW.

Breakfast for the first 50 people will be at 8am & the second at 9am - £5 per head.

And lastly...THE WEATHER HAS BEEN ORDERED
