Indolesco Ergo Sum

Had an off last night No idea but got a front end slapper and was chucked off at about 50.
This being on a LH bend I was extremely lucky that there was nothing coming tother way. Got taken home in an ambulance after treatment as I refused the dreaded A & E zoo.
No breaks, but bashed head twice on the road, contused both knees and right hand. Trousers wrecked. Worst pain is trauma to front and back torso muscles. Took me an hour to get out of bed this morning as needed pills, a drink and a wee but could not even roll over onto my front.
Bike is with a local and I've no idea what's wrong with it. Breaking gently approaching bend - nothing. Bike stood up, went straight on then braked violently ripping my hands off the bars and launching me skyward.
Much better now. Still very uncomfy but not screaming every time I move.

Holly shit!
Sorry to hear about the off.
Hope the serious pain doesn't last long, no doubt it'll be a little while until you're good again.
If you need anything then ask (I'm not saying I'm gonna help

)
Is your bike safe where it is, do you need it trailering home?

*V*E*R*Y* kind offer Jug. Safe it is and not causing any probs. Luckily it was opposite a farmhouse entrance with oodles of space and they took it in (so I'm told).
Could be ride-able, could be a write-off, I've no idea. Will view early next week.
If I can repair it or it's a write off. I need to get it home. If repairable but out of my ability, need to get to a workshop. Only got TPF&T

Hope you make a speedy recovery.
Sounds like something was on the road.

Sounds horrible!
If the pain isn't better within 36hrs a visit to a walk-centre (at least) might be advisable.
Get details of farm people and speak to them - I'm sure bike can wait ....

Gws Larry.
You came off outside a farm? I bet the farmers are being nice to you, sounds like a front end slide on some cow poo to me sir.

Yeh, no response to braking and then suddenly so much response that the bike stands up and goes straight. Definitely sounds like the front slid on something,

Thanks all for the wishes. A bit better this morning. Yawning hurts, coughing hurts a lot and sneezing is really nasty.
The peeps are happy to retain the bike. Brother and I will go to see it early next week.

Crossed my tiny little mind but hoping not. I'll be a bit careful for a few days and see.

Just inspected my (Weise) jacket.
Rip through left wrist area, both fore arms and shoulders damaged. Left pocket ripped. Also found my watch in a pocket - in 4 pieces and stopped.

If you get stuck for a way to get it back and it's not too far out of town give me a shout. Mate got trailer for his track bike and he's usually helpful.
Cheers
Mike

Great offer, thanks Mike.
It's up on top Dundry half way 'tween Bishopsworth & Chew Magna.
Hoping to check it over early in the week.
