New to SW bikers

HI folks,
Just signed up after seeing constant posts about a cheap trackday on instagram and I can't resist a bikey bargain! So possibly be seeing some of you at Llandow in a couple of months?
I live in South Somerset at the moment in a little village about 20 minutes away from Yeovil. I've currently got 4 bikes including a 1999 Yamaha R1, a 2010 KTM 200EXC, a Kawasaki ZXR400 track bike and a humble 2005 Honda CG125 which has done the most mileage in the past 2 years including a 2000 mile trip around Europe and a 1000 mile trip up to Scotland.
I've only been riding 6/7 years but managed to pack in plenty of riding. Done a fair few track days, a lot of commuting, some good tours and a bit of off-road.
Not a huge one for meets and ride outs but I do like to pop along to the Henstridge Airfield bikers blast as it's so close to me.
Any way enough waffle... A picture of two says a thousand words. Mine say I'm crap on a bike

Thanks for the welcomes folks.
Ruffian - not in my ownership it hasn't. It used to be Bradley Richman's wet bike so he may have had it take there?
He lives in or near Taunton and races with North Gloucester road racing club. He is Sponsored by Hel performance so l local links

Does his dad have a zx6r also?
If so that makes sence as seen the zx6r and the zx4 (6r lookalike) their bikes seem to always be looked after.
And I see your coming llandow, it's a good giggle for the price. A 400 will be ideal for it.

Yep think so... well in fact I think they both do now as half way through this year Bradley should be old enough to race a 600.
I couldn't turn the day down for the money and like you say, it should suit the 400 well!
Are you going to Llandow? If you are what are you taking?

Hi and welcome to the forum will look forward to seeing you at Llandow. If your not into the ride out or meet ups then keep an eye on the Track day section of the forum as there is quite a few of us that are regular Track Dayers.
If nothing else the forum is a bit of a cool place to be. Hope you enjoy.

Hi and thanks.
I will keep a eye although I don't do many track days, typically just a couple a year. I said I wasn't going to do many at all this year and now I'm going to look at a second track bike tomorrow.... D'oh

Hi and welcome. Might see you at a track one day. No Llandow for me this year as clashes with No Limits Racing round 4. It’s a good day - enjoy

Cheers Shammy
So seeing as I mentioned it in a previous post.... this is my latest acquisition...
Apologies for the blurry photo as I was in a rush! Bargain of the year I think though.
It's a hornet with allegedly a gas flowed head, a full 2008 R6 front end with a Brembo 19x20 radial master cylinder. Ohlins rear shock, Ohlins side mount steering damper, SES rear sets and a small box of goodies including nearly new tyre warmers, some spares for the rearsets, paddock stands etc.
Also has wets on wheels although the wets are 10+ years old so need changing, but he also threw in an engine, a frame with standard forks on AND a generator for powering the aforementioned warmers.... All for less than £900!

That seems a great buy but almost one too good to be true.
Or are you buying someone else's problems??
Fingers crossed it's the first.
