Starkeys viewing isn't too bad tbh, you can see them coming down Craner Curves and round the old Hairpin but then they'll vanish beneath the bridge. If you go on the infield you can see Craner, Starkeys, Schwantz and McLeans and a bit of the run up to Coppice.
Why is this thread asking about parking at Starkeys? You can't park anywhere near it!
Be prepared to spend ages queuing to get out of wherever you're parked, the circuit empties onto one single carriageway road

The people shouting that the GP should return there conveniently overlook that little aspect of the day.. in 2004 a mate of mine from Leicester spent a total of 7 hours queuing to get in and out of Donington for MotoGP. Why not go on a bike? people asked... well, it's a bit difficult to take your family on a bike...

I was also in the carpark for 7 hours! Soaked to the bone as well.
We like foggy's esses as a few passes, [censored] ups and spinning it out but I believe it's the National circuit.
Personally I don't think there's any bad spots, just all slightly different. Watching a Ducati's wheel fall off at goddards, carnage at redgate, looking down towards crainers and the old hairpin from the infield. Even where the dunlop bridge used to be was good.

Took me ages to get foggys esses right.
Turns out you just got to aim for the kerbs and pin it.
