Hi Graham, I will pass on your regards to Neil - he doesn't hill climb anymore, but he still races occasionally, it's in his blood!!
Badger, I'd love to move it to Cornwall, doubt Neil would approve though!!!

Job Vacancy
Afternoon all, I realise it's been quite a while since I posted on here, but I thought this may appeal: I run Bike Torque Racing, we import and distribute lots of very nice bike parts into the UK, we are the sole importer for Brembo Aftermarket brakes, AFAM chain & sprockets, Domino race product...

Re: RIDE awareness
Prepare to be patronised and lied to. All to extract cash from your wallet. Better than getting points as well though, best to just suck it up and move on. Oh, and if you have an opinion that goes against the bullsh*t they peddle on the course - just keep it to yourself or you'll end up with even mo...

Re: Bikers charged with death by dangerous driving
I think the entire case is bol*ocks, if you are riding with other people and you get split up for whatever reason - be that traffic, riding ability or whatever - if you make a decision to take extra risks etc and ride beyond your ability then that is your decision and yours alone. I ride faster than...

Re: Textile Clothing
Just re-read your original post, on average it's best to wash and re-proof textiles every 6 months, but varies dependant on how much riding you do.

Re: Textile Clothing
First remove all the armour, then wash on a cool wash with Nikwax Tech Wash (you can apply it direct to the garment first to pre-treat any bad stains). Then wash the garment again using Nikwax TX Direct to re-proof it. Next tumble dry it to re-activate the water proofing. There are various products ...

Re: Bike Modifications?
I declare mine, not so I can claim for them but because insurance companies are getting more switched on to ways to shirk their responsibilities when it comes to actually paying out. Obvious performance enhancing modifications such as a full Akrapovic system could be the perfect excuse for them to r...

Re: 1 piece leathers question
Bear in mind that a 1 peice suit is deliberately cut to fit your body shape when you are sitting on the bike. They are not designed to be comfortable when walking around, or even standing. Obviously only you know how they feel when you are wearing them, but if two seperate people in two seperate sho...

Re: Police and Partnership camera vans
Seen the b'stards 3 times on the B3227 at Hillcommon in the last month or so and once last night on the A358 at Henlade just after the new two lane 30mph stretch by the park & ride, so sadly it looks like they haven't buggered off from Somerset. Shame really as I hadn't seen any for months and w...
