got Pilot Mich's on my SV, haven't really had the chance to test them to the edge but they are a touring tyre, so long lasting.

Get a Scotoiler Fit a scotoiler, and use chain lube/wax and you should be able to get 30,000 miles from 1 chain. well ok 34247 to be precise!!!! Surely the reason for fitting a Scotoiler is so you don't have to use any other wax/lube :?: :? Had someone get over 60k out of the chain on an SV:D :D ou...

As I understand it, it's 6 and above when things get really expensive, insurers aren't so worried about the odd 3. I'd imagine it will still increase your premium to some degree.
