Re: anyone into motocross ?

I go out on green lanes almost every weekend, But bristol might be a bit far to come on a mud plugger.

I have a Harley davidson MT350 and do about 60 miles, some times further off road every weekend.

Re: Long Distance Touring on a Naked Bike?

I rode a W650 accross europe last summer with no screens etc.

No problem at all however just traded it for a Peg and suddenly realised how much a little fairing helps.

Re: where can I fit new tyers in Bristol?

Cabot tyres in totterdown will fit to rims.

Protyre in St George will fit to the bike, or try Unity Road Motorcycles in Keynsham, John is a really reasonable bloke down there.

Re: Petition to improve Driver Training

Personally i would like to see all road users have to do a compulsory refesher training every 2/3 years - not a retest as I don't see anything to gain from that apart from more money the DVLA and people rely on their transport for work or a way of life and the prospect of loosing that isn't fair on ...

It's the census next year.

if enough people put their religion as "Motorcyclism" or something like that then it will have to be reckoginsed.

This is one of my local sunday rides (not really sports bike friendly though - lots of mud and unsurfaced roads)

Re: First Bike - Need Help Finding One Around This Area

My younger bro got hold of a 2001 honda shadow for just over a grand a year ago.

All the 2nd hand V twin 125 cruisers have sky rocketed as the emmisons laws have stoped their manufacture but my advice to you is just keep checking ebay, bikertrader and mcn so see if on comes up.
