spoke to the person who owned the bike before me apparently he put on a new reg/rec about 10months ago? , could it have gone that quick? , and as for generator im bidding on one at the momment, what they like for fitting?

I have had a play around with a volt meter mate there the results i got, ?? ,

JEEEZ! what an essay but when it comes to reading stuff like that it sort off goes in one ear and out the other, but i sort off get it could be my generator..... been looking at them and do i buy the windings or the whole lot? x

been having a play around earlier on my 1998 srad, checking the voltages etc, on idle it was 12.2 volts at 5000rpm its was 12.5volts headlights on went straight to 11.2volts and still dropping after it went down to 10.5 tried rewiring the reg/rec but no joy....all around the same readings, just on t...

took all the panels off yesterday cleaned up all the wires etc, all the connections they all looked pretty crap to be honest, touch wood its been ok at the momment, but i will get a new reg rec soon, x

i took my bike apart to bits the other day, reg /rec seemed fine etc, no wires melted or what not, but today something weird happend...... got engine up to 100degrees took seat off and felt the reg/rec and its scorching couldnt touch it, then all off a sudden temp gauge jumps to 130 then rev gauge g...

quick question for you guys! , basically i got a 1998 srad as some of you may no, but was just a bit of curiosity when i ride my bike speedo is fine etc, but when i turn my lights on....or an indicator....my speedo goes to 0 then back to what speed im doing again as if everything dies?, has anybody ...
