Re: Bike Modifications?
I'm surprised more people havn't posted? Either because their mods are not declared or most chaps leave their bikes standard?

Re: Overtaking vs undertaking?
I sometimes will drive or ride in the middle or outside lane when I could pull over, BUT only if there are no cars behind me wanting to overtake!graham22 wrote:Crawling along in the outside lane:

Re: Overtaking vs undertaking?
I'm not referring to what is legal here. I think we all know what is legal but I've found so many drivers these days who think nothing of lane hogging in the outside lane despite the fact they could pull over and allow cars to pass.

Re: Caught Speeding
Going on from that, what ticks me off is the fact that the authorities will pick you up for speeding but do little about the mass bad diving on our roads today which I think can be more dangerous! To me, doing 90 on an empty stretch of road like that is rediculas to get caught for - but it is the la...

Re: Caught Speeding
From that angle looks like one of those average speed cameras in yellow or those traffic managment CCTV camaras sort of position. I didn't know speed cameras on motorways were hidden and off angle? Always thought they were above you behind those overhead signs? WOW!

Re: Overtaking vs undertaking?
Travelled up line on my holidays last week and took a photo of this older couple who were very content doing 60mph for mile after mile after mile after mile etc in the middle lane regardless of empty space in the first lane!

Bike Modifications?
Do anyone tell the insurance companies they have added or altered things on their bikes? I recently went on a price comparison site and played around with the things like exhausts, Power Commanders, K+N etc and found the insurance could jump by up to £300 more! Now I could understand if you added NO...

Overtaking vs undertaking?
OK, what do you do if you are stuck behind a car in the outside lane when he should pull over to the inside lane? You know the sort of driver, totally oblivious to anyone of the cars streaming behind him, he/she not aware or not concerned they are holding you up! What do you do? 1. Stay behind and s...

Re: Not just me who has caravan issues!
If max rider in that video is that chap who with the gray hair he's one of the Advance Motorcycle test instructors. I took my test and passed by him Feb this year. Advanced riding is good and I've learned so much but since my test old habits are creeping back and it's a discipline to ride within the...

I've not been over to GT's yet but it's a shame that a local business has sold out to a national company! Hope it's a good move!

Re: Stealing Gypsy Council B@ST@RD$
I've noticed more and more car parks now charging for bikes to park. Here in Plymouth I spoke to a traffic warden about where I could park. They seem to be flexible and said we prefer it if you parked in the bike parking zones allocated around Plymouth City Centre. But they also said if none was ava...

Re: Hi from Plymouth
Just realised you can't edit your own posts? OK, my name is Paul and I own four bikes, Buell XB12, BMW GS1200, RD350, RD500. Not all are road worthy at the moment - bottomless pit owning bikes it seems! I've clocked up quite a few miles since 2008 just joy riding in my spare time but must confess I'...
