If max rider in that video is that chap who with the gray hair he's one of the Advance Motorcycle test instructors. I took my test and passed by him Feb this year. Advanced riding is good and I've learned so much but since my test old habits are creeping back and it's a discipline to ride within them.
I find it most difficult with speed limits. I tend to ride safe within the conditions of the roads rather than keeping to the specific speed limits of the roads. One of the worst speed limits for me is approaching the Tamar Bridge. From the roundabout (Devon side) right up until the national speed limit signs (300 meters out of the tunnel) it's all 30mph. REALLY hard to keep to 30mph once you've left the tunnel cornwall side!
I recommend advance riding, you do learn alot of good skills, but I fund you end up riding so gently everywhere up to the speed limits 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, whereas I like the thrust of acceleration which means you end up going over!
