I was 7 when the Old Man bought me my first bike a YZ80. Bloody brilliant bike although my Dad had no idea how powerful it was. I remember him getting home with and thought he'd show me and my brother what he'd got us and took off up the the only for the front to lift when he wasn't expecting it to....

I don't use a disk lock as the thieving b'stards can still pick the bike up and stick it in the back of a van. A nice big chain that goes aroung a lamp post and though my frame now try and get though that in a hurry.

andrew is spot on. Don't try to race or keep up it's not a pride thing people will respect you more if you ride slower and safer instead of fast and dangerous.
