Dog Bone Advice Please

Post by MinesaVodka »

just brought a set of dog bones for the Bandit. Do they really do everything they say they do. The Bandit needs a bit of a jolt in the handling department.
Gav what you doing at the weekend? 8)

They join the shock to the triangle linkage...well on the SV and i'm sure the bandit too (they look like dog bones...well, ish)

Done mine a while back, shorter ones raise the rear reducing rake and trail, making the steering angle steeper ergo turning quicker

Dropping the forks through the yokes a couple of mm's would have the same affect but higher asses look better 8) and GSXR front ends are lower anyway....yes you could put a SRAD front end on a bandit

Yeah I did it, made a huge difference!

Shorter dog bones allow the swing-arm to come down further, increasing the tail's height.

You'll notice it, and they're easy to fit too!
