Does it beep straight after you turn it on, thats the BIOS telling you somethings wrong, undo the case bolts and make sure nothing has worked loose when you moved it, then go into the BIOS (setup when you boot up) and make sure the date etc are all correct

I know if i unplug mine, i need to reconfigure the BIOS to run the video through the PCI not the AGP and the LAN is turned of and the clocks wrong

Like Speedy said prob just battery on the motherboard needs replacing. Either that or more than likely you need to remove the ram, blow the dust out and refit it. Could also be that your running your graphics card flat out and its getting too hot. Failing that look here to identify your problem. http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/reference/biosb.htm

If its still working perfectly (with the exeption of the beeping) there are only a few possible problems.

Firstly and probably most likley is that a fan is clogged with dust and stoped spinning.

Hardware failure is another possiblilty but I wouldent say its likely becasuse you said your pcs working ok.

Another cause could be the battery problem but I would say that is the least likely, Every new pc charges the "CMOS Battery" while its plugged in the wall provided the switch near the power cord is on.

If your under waranty, let them sort it. Most warrantys are invalid as soon as you take the side of your pc case off.

If it isnt, my sugestion (and IT hardware is my job) would be to turn it off, when switching it on again go into your systems CMOS menu. this is usually acomplished by presing the "Delete key" repeatedly after you turn your system on. You will probably be presented with a blue screen with white writing. You want to select "Power and Management Features". In this screen you should see things like temperature readouts and fan speed in rpm. if you see any fan speeds at 0, write down what its labeld as and post it here. If you get stuck im on msn at h4z7d@hotmail.com

Good luck!

If it's at exactly the same time each day then it could be an alarm feature either in windows or the BIOS. Try changing your clock back an hour and see if it beeps at the same system time.

Find out what motherboard you got, then look on the manufacturers website and you should be able to look up some sort of beep code.

Some motherboards have a temperature setting, mine won't turn on at all as all I get is the beep which means that the temperature sensor has buggered.

Hope you get it sorted soon mate

This wouldn't make sence if it happened the same time but you might want to cheak your graphics card tempurture. And maybe stick the overheating warning beeps to a higher level.
