Not sure as I cant get medical insurance now, but I've had quotes between 60k upto 150k, 200k MAX.

Because theirs so much damage, bracial plexus, dislocated/shattered shoulder[possibly]. Elbow shattered aswell. doh.

The bulk of the cost is operation, bed cost, and the drugs.
Because you have to pay for everything...

He shouldn't have to raise any money because it should be done on the NHS. You can bet that if he was from else where it would be  I expect his family have been paying NI for years and now he needs the NHS they won't help   Sorry, it just makes me angry.

Anyway good luck with everything and hope you're all sorted soon.

Its too much money for most individuals on the site to make even a tiny dent, so a suggestion would be for all us SWB members to embarass the NHS into making treatment available and we can start by writing to our mp.

Click, insert postcode & get typing.

If you need any expert physiotherapy or rehabilitation let me know. NHS can be the 'No Frills' way of getting better in some cases.

I'm a qualified personal trainer and have some buddies that are physio's that could help you out. Good luck with the money, dude.
