sad news . Biker death in Plymouth, plymbridge road this morning on my way to work.

Plus there was a road closing accident involving a motorbike today on the A30 between Penzance & Hayle.

Certainly have sympathy for the families.

Problem is police reaction will only be clampdown on exhausts/no plates rather than getting to the 'driver/rider error'/road condition/road layout root of this problem.

Was told that some kid stepped out the road in front of him and he swerved straight into an on coming car

there was a biker knocked off yesterday on the exminster roundabout about 930 am

read the paper report in another thread, the police were satisfied he was not speeding or doing any wrong it was the teenage running into the road that caused the accident , time for Dave Prowse to don the green cross man suit again maybe, it is not just bikers that need to slow down it is all the rest of the peeps around to think of there own safety as well,
Oh and maybe a loud exhaust is not such a bad thing

merv i read that post but only after i'd posted on this one so my mistake but i did generally mean lets all take it steadier and think a bit more
