PLEASE NOTE ALL BANDS....THE EXETER INN HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR ALL OF JANUARY,THE NEW OWNERS HAVE TAKEN OVER AND BOARDED UP THE WINDOWS AND DOORS....AS FAR AS I KNOW THERE WILL BE NO MORE GIGS AS THE BACK OF THE PUB IS BEING KNOCKED DOWN FOR HOUSING. The Exeter was always the 'student' pub in town , again spent a fair bit of my misspent youth in there. It sounds like the pub is open/opening , but just not gonna 'go back so far' ...why do people have to build in every spare square inch - and why are they allowed?
It's getting ridiculous, but it's happening everywhere.
