insurance

usual question - who do people use, and find cheap? struggling to get a multi-bike policy for a modified and grey import on the same policy so any suggestions useful. carol nash cheapest so far but also tried cia/motorcycle direct/adrian flux/aquote and a couple of others.

so far got it down to 268 tpft for modified gsxr7-11, gilera xrt600 and rd350r with 8yrs ncb on one policy - individually 7-11 140 quid using ncb, and rd and gilera about 90 each with no ncb

any suggestions from people who have multibike policies would be great

Multi-bike policies can be a tricky area mate - personally i didn't think
your quote sounded too bad.

Not all insurers do multi bike schemes either.

I've just recently insured my CBR1000F,best i could get was £258
fully comp with 3yrs no-claims - that was with H&R

Try ebike
http://www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk/

I have 2 bikes on mine, the ZRX - which has the end can declared as a mod, and the Jialing 125 - which is a grey import.

It's all done online, but not sure if their system would cope with your 7-11 mods. :?

Cost me just over £200, fully comp, 4 years NCB, garaged.

That seems pretty good for a multi-bike policy, and probably your best way forward ....

I use masterquote (who bought out Mitchells a few years back) - £95 tpft for the TL :D

Hey Chris - I can recommend a place that'll get you a good quote on a multi-fleet policy - but you need five vehicles.

Bennetts have just quoted me £105 fully comp on the TRX which is pretty good I think 8)

PS - did I see somewhere that you're MOT'ing one of them? if you're going to see your mate in town here, please can you put in a word for me as mine's due in a couple of weeks
my mind not only wanders ... sometimes it leaves completely
