Powder coating nice thick coat of plastic all over the frame, you need to scrape off some to get a good earth again where things earth to the frame

can the engine actually earth?, go around and check continuity between battery negative terminal and engine, mounts etc

Ive seen people desperately trying to sort out ignition problems on rubber mounted engines DOH they forgot to fit the earth strap!!!

but if it all worked before then check earths and also check the kill switch, if it earths through the bars, check the bars are earthed
