Big big thanks to Gerry and everyone you took part in modelling/buying/selling.

Great acheivement for what was raised for the charitys.

The SWB money will be paid into a SWB account (once I have opened one )

The finds will be put to buying gifts for us to do some competitions in the future.

FINALLY ,but nothing like we were expecting...........

http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/display ... eId=133174

NO photos, No mention of the volunteers, no credits to venues/locations I e-mailed to them about.

So we were a bit dissapointed with the write up!

I guess they mist the bit , as far as Bristol, to lands end.

All proceeds going to a good cause, no how big or small.
All had fun, ( i should know ),
and a big thank you to all that took part, in posing, making this happen, and buying the calendar.

Thanx for that Jono,
the press were never very good at getting things right!

I contacted them 9th June and e-mailed them 9 times and they still couldn't spell my name right.
I told them how far afield people came to be in the calendar. I even suggested that they log in to the forum and read about us all for themselves, sending them the link on 'I have a suggestion', but I don't think they bothered.
ALL the photos we took of the charity cheque presentations were dismissed because their pulishing rights wouldn't allow it, but I wasn't told this till after I was asked to captionate all the pictures I sent in ( that wasn't as easy as it sounds either!)
I asked NOT to be mentioned, only write about the volunteers and others who gave up their valuable FREE time to get this project completed.
(Ruth and Colin are not members of SWB) they got his wrong also.
Biker Dave did give it a mention on air Plymouthsound Radio on Saturday afternoon on the 9th June, after he had his photo shoot with the Air Ambulance cheque hand over.............Thanx DAVE x
