Any Points From The AGM Minutes

Post by speedy(delboy) »

I'd like to just say about the Llandow Track Day.

Yes, members will take priority over non members, BUT

If members leave it to the last few weeks and non members are on the list, they will not be removed just because a member couldn't be arsed to get their names down early, as there is plenty of notice for the day itself.

This is the 4th year I have organised this event and every year I can guareente someone will always pull out at the last minute and leave me short on both numbers and money.

Your comments please........

Phil, At the meeting I think everyone commented they appreciated the effort (and hassle) that went into organising the day :D

I think the comment was that "non-members" should be held on a separate list (4th group, almost) until a cut-off date, say end of Jan or Feb, at which time they transferred across to their preferred group if space was available. The point was members having priority :?

Equally it was realised that the cut-off should be early enough to allow remaining spaces to be sold, so there was no risk of you ending up out of pocket  :D

On the night I said to Mel there was something I was gonna mention but I couldn't remember what it was.

It was the 'you' button so sorry folks. But no one else mentioned it either

Nothing was said about animated stuff but my sig is a link, not downloaded onto the site so don't think it uses any room, if that makes sense.

Ah-ha yerr it is linny, cheers, knew it was somewhere

This was from our GRAND MASTER AND WIZARD Posted: Sat Jan 28, 2006 9:33 pm

Right then.

As a few of you may agree, a few peoples signatures are getting out of hand on the website. So I am going to enforce the following rules for signatures that are going to be 'suitable' for the site.

No bigger than 500pixels in width, 100 pixels in height.
.JPG or .BMP file types only. (No animated .GIF's)
No abusive or offensive content.
No more than 2 lines of text under a picture.

Myself & other admin will start to remove any signatures that do not comply with the above information.

If you find that your signature does not match what is stated above, please can you remove or change to make it suitable. Too much text makes the posts longer, & too many large signatures makes the site slower for 56k users to use as they are downloading mutiple images from mutiple sites.

If anyone would like a new signature picture made up, then send me an email with a couple of 'Hi-Res' pics of your bike & I'll see what I can rip together.

Many Thanks
