i have had fast cars before i started biking and to be honest cars bore the shit out of me now. why bother when it would only go to tesco and back or mothercare and back!!!!
plus have not come across one car on the road that can keep up, and unless i can ever afford a Pagani Zonda im not interested

It's rare that I have to, but if I do I tend to rely on family or friends or just lug it on the bus. You can tell that by my rippling bicepsRicky_t wrote:No car license! Bikes rule too much and i don't have a car licence...ummm you sound like you might be studying economics or social psychology at uni ricky
This poll was just out of curiosity (but yes i am studying economics.)
If i had a car it would just be something cheap and economical, a work horse rather than a toy.

as a company car I have a 2006 laguna diesel..
the one with all the bells and whistles - comfy for motorway miles and economic.
I did have a 4x4 Pajero as a second car but got rid of it. will eventually get around to buying a pickup, probably a couple year old Navara.
Not interested in "fast" cars for public roads - waste of time. Especially things like imprezas' and mitsubishi evo's - they rank way to high on the GayOmeter.
That said I do enjoy fast cars, I have done a couple car track days driving ferraris (360 and 550) as well as caterhams... I have hit the pit wall on a rainy day at castle coombe in an ariel atom 245.
proper fast cars are bloody good fun, but away from a track or the nurburgring - completely pointless.
bikes on the other hand are just as much fun on roads as they are on a track.

I've urrently got a £200 Renault 19, the other half gets to drive the (diesel) Galaxy
Had several "flash" cars in the past (house, redundancy, and marriage put paid to them
), but to be honest don't see much point in fast cars around here now ....... just gets you from one jam to another
Better of going for the creature comforts inside than the 500bhp motor under the hood
If it's hard to justify a litre sports-bike on todays roads, it must be nigh on impossible to exploit a 996 Porsche or Ferrari on the road

Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

indeed.
only relevant if you are a chronic poser or an old fat bald man with a very big wallett looking to get a younger woman.
As my wallett is no where near that big when I get fat and bald im just going to have to settle for a cheap thai bride.
I have a Vectra SRI estate, it is sporty, smart looking but i can still get heeps of stuff in it. It is only the 1.8 120bhp, i realy wanted the 130/150bhp but there wasnt anythig about when i had the money.. int that always the way.
Are you a crunchy nutter... ?

The 2.2ctdi accord is a really good car. I drove the civic with the same engine and it felt when moving like a petrol and the fuel economy isn't bad too. Not much turbo lag too! Good choice!PeterM wrote:Just traded in My Rover MG ZS for a Diesel Honda Accord so it must be time for a flat cap

Blue Sv650s Curvey - Now unrestricted but starting to find the suspension a problem.
Next bike: CBR600RR eventually.
