I remember mine very well:
I remember on the saturday at the newton pub meet speedy telling me I was shit and would never pass if I rode like that.
I remember on the sunday Speedy telling me it was a different person who came out and I should pass. Both these moments still mean alot to me, not to be too bum licking or anything.
I remember coming up towards the newton train station where it goes around the right hand bend and you can go around to the right or to the left, indicating to go left around the right corner to take up the left hand lane. The examiner telling me not to because it would confuse people then apologising because i took up the left lane as you should do...he obviously wasn't local.

i remember funkys very well too, i was working on his bike till 1 in the morning on the day of the test to make it legal.
dunno if you would still get away with it now but back in the days of good old days when i took my test i took the mirrors off my bike so the examiner could see i was doing my lifesave checks.
but then i also went past my house 3 times in the test so knew the roads, roads surface, pot holes, danger spots etc. he must of really wanted me to pass !

The best advice can give and i think this is true through any test you do.
Is be confident !!
NOT COCKY CONFIDENT but confident as in you know what your doing and if you do cock up it doesn't fase you and make you fall to bits.
I have done alot of tests for different reasons and this is the key. If your crap and let the traffic and silly mistakes control your ride then your in trouble.
But if your crap and our in control of whats on going and don't let mistakes or idiot drivers fase you then your in control and they like that.
I got away with 3 speeding marks on my test when i did it.
Just be brave and remember all that your taught about the seqeunce of manouvers and be brave and confident.
Good luck

I did my test a couple of weeks ago.
it was very easy, as long as you are a confident rider thats all to it.
just remember the shoulder and lifesaver checks before changing direction, and mirrors before braking thats all to it.
the test consists of : pushing the bike in a u-turn
riding the bike in a u-turn
emergency stop.
just remember to do observations when doing the u-turn.
to be honest i found it quite fun.

One of the best pieces of advice i can give is RELAX!!
When youre nervous you instinctively tense up,mentally and physically, which in turn negatively affects your riding and decision making skills.
If you make a conscious effort to relax and stay loose (dont let go of the bars tho
),youll find every manouevre so much easier and smoother -and you might even enjoy your test!
I remember i had to do my test in pouring drizzle, the kind that blurs up your visor two seconds after youve wiped it
Congratulations in advance
