Oh no, not again......
Seem to be making headway but it's slow, physioterrorist sessions 3 times a week. Managing mostly with one crutch as of a week or so ago.
Could be 3 to 6 months more before I achieve the best recovery I'm gonna get (2 years or more after the crash!).......for sure never going to be as good as new
Never mind, there's folks a lot worse off than me!
My Tibia will be ok at some point, maybe even now (Xrays and session with consultant again tomorrow) but my foot is giving me hassle (pain!) - a section of bones are fused so I've lost some flexibility, that's putting a strain elswhere in my foot. Knee and ankle joints are a problem too.
Useless but interesting fact..........25% of the total number of bones in your body are in your feet!!!!!!!

Wednesday was the 6 week review but.....No news!!!!!!!!
Long story but in brief, 45 min trip up to the BRI, 1.5hrs physio up to 14:30, straight up to Consultants clinic 1/2 hour early for appnt. Xrays done within 15 mins........sit and wait..........and wait..........and wait. Used to this but after an hour and a half I ask what the situation is, apologies blah blah will be seen asap. How many people still ahead of me?..... six ........20 mins per appnt average, that's 2 hours more!!!!!!!
I went to reception rebooked for next week and left!..........in pain, tired and fed up - just couldn't face that wait.

Thanks
.........not been reliant on a wheel chair for a while so I've been setting it up as a winter run-a-round as it'll be a bit dodgy if we get snow and I'm still on the sticks!
