Evil Knievel has died

Post by graham22 »

Surprised no-one else has posted this, alot of older riders will remember him regularly being in the public eye (him & Sheene bought biking into the mainstream press during the 70's) gotta admit didn't hear anything over the weekend about this.

8) 8) Hey Babe . I did not believe it when i heard it . He was ok . Sometimes you knew he could not possibly make some of them jumps . Yet he still had the balls to try . Sorely missed .

No way!!

How have I not heard!

Used to send him (plastic model-obviously!) out of the bedroom window with a makeshift parachute attached to him on the old wind up and go stunt bike!

He was awesome, thought the Kangaroo Kid would out do him but even he has gone lame lately!! (Smacking a paddle Steamer at 70mph must smart a bit - so can't blame him!)

Eddie Kidd was fooking ace too, but he ain't going to be coming back with a "Jumping the Grand Canyon" stunt anytime soon!

Long live the proper original American hero!

It ain't the Fonz, or Elvis.

It's Evel Knievel
